Merlyn received Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1981 and continued to take other business courses before pursuing her certification as a Professional Coder in 2006. Since then she has worked in numerous large medical facilities and physician groups, owned her own medical billing company and taught Coding at Kankakee Community College.
Merlyn's specialty is collecting A/R that is 120 days or older. She has over 25 years of extensive knowledge of billing requirements for Medicaid, Medicare and third party carriers. Additionally, she worked as systems maintenance manager for one of the most widely used medical billing systems in the industry. This reduces loss in productivity due to software and mechanical issues, as she is able to resolve them in-house.
Lanette received her Associates Degree in Arts and Science in 2005. She has been working in medical billing and benefits analysis for more than ten years. She has a vast knowledge of the various billing proactices and standards that corellate to the respective carriers and thus gains the distinction as a Medical Billing Specialist.
